Herbert Lavern Roundtree, 89

Herbert Lavern Roundtree, 89, passed away April 6, 2010, in his home in Hayden Lake. He was born Feb. 16, 1921, in Weskan, Kan.

He was retired from the Union Pacific Railroad. His wife Lorraine died Dec. 2, 2001. Survivors include stepdaughters Josephine (Charles) Kliphardt of Garfield, Wash., and Kay (James) Graham of Anchorage, Alaska; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Lillian Roundtree of Denver, Colo., and several nieces and nephews in Colorado and Mississippi.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene.

English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d’Alene, is in care of the arrangements.
