Post Falls picnic is set for Thursday
The annual Post Falls Community Picnic will be Thursday at the Lion's Pavilion at Q'emiln Park.
A barbecue dinner featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, salad, beans, chips and a beverage will be served by the Post Falls Community Volunteers from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cost is $6 per person. There will be a free concert by the Kelly Hughes Band from 6-9 p.m., sponsored by the volunteers.
Parking lot party, sale is Saturday
Community United Methodist Church is having its third annual parking lot party and sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
There will be new and used treasures, crafts, a carwash, food, a kids waterslide, animals to pet and ride, face painting, art and music. To acquire a vendor space for only $10, contact tammy@cumccda.org, call 765-8800 or visit www.cumccda.org
Proceeds will benefit local outreach projects and global missions.
The church is at the corner of Ramsey Road and Hanley Avenue.
