Cowboy and cowgirl action returns to the Boundary County Fairgrounds at 7 p.m. this Saturday, with bulls and barrels, a calf scramble and more.

The “Bulls of Terror,” Professional Bullriders Association-quality monsters brought in by Adam Westmon's Get a Grip Bucking Bulls, Deer Park, Wash., will challenge some of the best bull riders in the region in the Elite Pro Bullrider (EPB) sanctioned event.

As many as 30 riders are expected, riding for the winner's buckle in each event and $2,000 in added money to the winner.

The “Turn & Burn” barrel racing events will offer a 100 percent payback, including $200 in added money in the open class and $100 in added money in the novice class, along with winner's buckles.

Sponsored by the Selkirk Saddle Club, this year's event will also feature some fun for the kids, with two calf scrambles, one for kids ages six and under and the other for kids aged 7-12.
