Amtrak passenger falls off train to death

A 51-year-old Wisconsin man who was a passenger on Amtrak was found dead along the railroad tracks just west of Troy, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office reported.
Lincoln County Sheriff's Office detectives responded to a report of a body on the south side of the tracks at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The man, identified as Agostinho Carlos Sadi of La Crosse, Wis., was a passenger on a westbound train that had left Libby around 12:25 a.m.
Sadi somehow fell from the train shortly after it passed through Troy. Law enforcement said it is unclear whether Sadi went through a window or door.
"The cause of death is still being investigated," Lincoln County Sheriff Daryl Anderson said Thursday morning. "It’s a possibility he may have fallen off the train or gotten thrown off the train."
Sadi's body was taken to the state crime lab for an autopsy. Results indicated that he indeed died from injuries sustained from the fall.
