VIDEO: Brass in Blue

Video of the U.S. Air Force Brass in Blue on Aug. 18 at the Polson High School auditorium. The concert is was sponsored by the Lake County Leader in cooperation with the U.S. Air Force.

Brass in Blue is stations at Offutt Air Force Base near Omaha, Neb. This 12-member ensemble is part of the Heartland of America Band and promises to offer something for everyone under the direction of Staff Sergeant Matt Erickson.

Since 2007, Brass in Blue has appeared in concerts across the nation and globe and has received rave reviews from audience members and military leaders alike in response to their brilliant performances.

Maidens lose two

Sophomore Nina Orozco dives for a ball during the Tip-off tournament. Against Big Sky last Tuesday, Ronan lost 63-13. Junior Jonna Grant led with four points and went two-for-two at the free throw line. Last Saturday, the Maidens lost 40-33 to Mission. Orozco led with nine points.
