POST FALLS — A memorial ceremony will be held on Sept. 11 at the Post Falls American Legion, 1138 E. Poleline Ave., at 12:30 p.m. for Patriot Day.

The event is free and the public is urged to attend.

The Washington Air National Guard band will perform and there will be remarks from police, the fire department and Mayor Clay Larkin.

The ceremony, will also include a rifle salute and laying of wreaths, remembers the sacrifices during the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
