COEUR d'ALENE - Lauren Robideau scored in the 55th and 67th minutes to lift Eastern Oregon over North Idaho College 2-0 in women's soccer Sunday at Eisenwinter Field.

Despite his team giving up two goals, NIC coach Dan Hogan praised the defense, led by Charlie Evans and Lauryn Martel, which gave up just one shot inside the penalty area.

NIC (1-1) plays host to Chemeketa Community College of Salem, Ore., on Saturday at the Cardinal Classic.
