John Ryan Micklewright, 28, passed away Nov. 28, 2010, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He was born to Darrell and Fran (Bour) Micklewright on March 31, 1982, in Davenport, Iowa. Ryan s family moved to Kalispell when he was 2 years old. Ryan graduated from Flathead High School in 2000. He loved cooking and attended Scott Community College in Bettendorf, Iowa, majoring in culinary arts. Ryan loved playing guitar, the Chicago Cubs and the band Pearl Jam. He was preceded in death by both his paternal and maternal grandparents. Ryan is survived by his parents, Darrell Micklewright and Fran Micklewright, both of Kalispell; son, Samuel James Micklewright; brother, Jason Micklewright, of Port Hueneme, Calif.; and sister, Jennifer Micklewright, of Kalispell. Memorial services for Ryan will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home.
