Cory M. Mortensen, 17, of Troop 209 received his Eagle Scout Award during a ceremony Nov. 24 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

For his project, he built several sets of bunk beds for the Coeur d'Alene Indian Tribe Transitional Home for Troubled Youth.

Mortensen is the son of Paul and Stephanie Mortensen of Coeur d'Alene.
