Neighborhood plan approved

The Flathead County Commissioners gave final approval to the revised Lakeside Neighborhood Plan on Wednesday.
The update to the plan has been in the works for about three years. The commissioners unanimously passed a resolution of intent to adopt the plan in October, which triggered a 30-day public comment period.
Both Commissioner Dale Lauman and Joe Brenneman voted in favor of adopting the plan Wednesday. Commissioner Jim Dupont was absent, but Brenneman said he had expressed support for the plan.
