Bardaro nets OT winner

SPOKANE - Anthony Bardaro scored on a rebound of a Steve Kuhn shot 3:12 into overtime to give the Spokane Chiefs a 3-2 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers in Western Hockey League action in front of 4,927 at the Spokane Arena on Friday night.

Former Coeur d'Alene Laker Tyler Johnson opened the scoring on a power-play goal midway through the second period.

Johnson added another goal at the 5:27 mark of the third to tie the game after Medicine Hat scored twice in the first 2:56 of the period.

Spokane (13-9-2-2, 30 points) hosts Portland tonight at 7.
