Santa brings sleigh to Libby on Monday

The traditional holiday appearance by

Santa Claus and local emergency personnel will take place on

Monday, Dec. 13 from 5:30-7 p.m., in the Pizza Hut parking lot in

Libby.

Santa, played by Dave Striplin, and his

special sleigh will be on hand. Mrs. Claus, played by Mindy

Striplin, will also help with the activities.

Several businesses in Libby have

donated gift certificates to Santa for the event. Burger Express,

Magic Cleaners and Rosita’s are among the new participants this

year. Striplin said he thanks all of his sponsors that help him

keep the event going strong.

Children are welcome to have their

photograph taken with Santa and his sleigh.

Striplin as Santa will also make an

appearance at the Libby VFW Post No. 1548 from 2-4:30 p.m., on

Saturday, Dec. 18.
