PATEROS - Finesse won out as the Almira/Coulee-Hartline Lady Warriors crushed Pateros, 71-42, Friday night, in a sequel to last year's Class 1B semifinal.

ACH (3-0) broke out to a 21-7 first quarter lead and led 38-16 by halftime to set the tone against the aggressive Lady Goats.

"We kind of got on them pretty quick," ACH head coach Mike Correia said. "They came back with a lot of physical play so we had to adjust our game. It was good to get in a game like that to see that we can we handle it."

Madeline Isaak scored 22 points for ACH, Nikki Osborne tallied 21 points, eight rebounds, and five steals, and Kodi Noggles finished with 11 points.

"The first road game is always interesting," Correia said. "Would I say we played great? No, but I saw some good things."
