Couple dies in accident near Noxon

A couple that formerly lived in Troy and Libby

died Thursday afternoon after an oncoming semi-truck broadsided

their vehicle on Highway 200 at Noxon, according to Montana Highway

Patrol.

Frank Eugene Shockley Jr., 51, and April

Atwood, 50, were pronounced dead at the scene after emergency

responders arrived, according to Trooper Richard Hader. They had

moved to Noxon from Troy a few months ago, he said.
