EPHRATA - Despite showing some improvement, the Ephrata Tigers basketball team fell to 0-5 on the season with a 75-57 home loss to Chelan on Tuesday night.

Tanner Williams led Ephrata with 18 points in the non-league contest, while Brad Christensen contributed 17 points and Tyler Clark finished with 12 points on four three-point shots.

"We are improving but we have too many spurts where we gave up too many layups," Ephrata head coach Brandon Evenson said. "We did shoot well, hitting 50 percent of our shots.
