straight CWAC victory last night with a 43-33 win at Grandview.

GRANDVIEW - Quincy's Jackrabbit wrestlers recorded their second straight CWAC victory last night with a 43-33 win at Grandview.

Four pin victories were key in the team's victory and another major decision contributed to 28 big points for the Jacks who also won their second consecutive road match.

Christian Alejandrez (first-round, 112-pounds), Isias Jimenez (first-round, 140-pounds), Johnny Navarro (second-round, 145-pounds), and Antonio Melendez (second-round, 171-pounds), all brought home pin wins while Ben Horning scored a 12-0 victory at 152-pounds.

Also scoring wins for Quincy via decision were Uriel Heras at 125-pounds and Blas Magana at 130-pounds.

Quincy was without one of their top wrestlers, Manny Ybarra, who is currently preparing for the Tri-State Invitational that begins today in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
