WARDEN - A late run by the host Warden Cougars gave them their first win of the season in a 55-48 victory over Wahluke Saturday night.

It was a big win to follow up an emotional 51-48 overtime loss to Royal the night before.

"We moved the ball around a little better tonight, and got more people involved," Warden head coach Wes Richins said. "We finally hit some shots when it counted and finished better."

Warden was led by Ty Jesse (13 points, five steals), Victor Flores (12 points), and Garritt Marks (11 points, 13 rebounds).
