WARDEN - Opening up league play last night, the Warden Lady Cougars faced off with one of the Central Washington South 2B's better programs.

Playing host to visiting White Swan, the Lady Cougars struggled with turnovers and fell behind early before dropping a 62-33 decision.

Warden (2-4, 0-1) fell behind 17-6 after the first quarter and ended up the game with 33 turnovers compared to White Swan's 12.

"Once we calmed down and broke their press we started playing a bit," Warden head coach Todd Kisler said.

Iris Rodriguez finished with eight points and 13 rebounds for Warden while Hannah Bisnett added eight points and 12 rebounds.
