Scarlets win two

ARLEE - Seven points.
That's how many points Arlee gave up through three quarters to Lincoln on Friday.
Their defense was more than just a bit stingy, as the Lady Lynx only scrapped together four points in the first quarter, one point in the second and two in the third.
Meanwhile the Scarlets grabbed the 24-5 lead at halftime en route to a 41-22 victory. Mahalia Hendren led Arlee's attack with 12, followed by Whitney Malatare with nine.
The Lady Lynx would come alive and score 16 points in the fourth quarter, over twice the amount that they scored in the previous three quarters. However, the Scarlets had amassed an impressive lead and despite the output, the Lynx were just able to make the matchup look closer than it was.
They were able to carry their momentum over to Saturday's conference opener against St. Regis. Their defense was equally impressive and sophomore Kyistyn Adams led the
Scarlets with 14 points.
The win propelled the Scarlets back to .500 at 2-2.
