MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake Museum and Art Center is hosting the annual Juried Exhibition art show.

Beginning Jan. 7, visitors can see the work of 39 artists during the reception from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

"It's a good opportunity to meet other artists in the community," says Museum Manager Freya Hart.

There isn't a specific theme to the show and displayed artwork will be in all manner of media.

"It's little bit of everything, watercolor, photography, sculpture and even a little bit of digital artwork this year," Hart says.

Artists submitted up to four entries and a guest juror will award cash prizes to category winners.

Hart says some artists will be present at the reception to chat with visitors.

For people interested in purchasing art, the opening night gallery special gets buyers 10 percent off of gallery artwork during reception night only.

Refreshments will be served.

For more information, call the Moses Lake Museum and Art Center at 509-764-3830.

The show ends Feb. 4.
