MOSES LAKE - Port of Moss Lake commissioners agreed to start a $8,434 monthly lease agreement with Boeing.

The lease appears to be a continuation of the company's 747 flight test program, said Craig Baldwin, the port's executive manger, on Tuesday.

Boeing is tentatively scheduled to lease the port space for a month, he said.

Next week, they are expected to move into the downstairs conference room inside the Grant County International Airport and use airline areas and ramp space.

Boeing previously leased the former Japan Air Lines hangar from the port for a year and moved to make room for Fairchild Air Force Base airmen.
