Polson girls fall to CFalls

The Pirates dropped to No. 2 in the conference with a 61-40 loss to Columbia Falls last Thursday.

The Pirates faced a nine-point deficit at the half but were unable to make a run.

Sophomore Mariah Hamel led with 11 points as seven Pirates netted points.

Polson travels to Eureka tonight and to Libby on Saturday.

Maidens lose two

Sophomore Nina Orozco dives for a ball during the Tip-off tournament. Against Big Sky last Tuesday, Ronan lost 63-13. Junior Jonna Grant led with four points and went two-for-two at the free throw line. Last Saturday, the Maidens lost 40-33 to Mission. Orozco led with nine points.
