By the end of the first quarter there was little question that the Bigfork Valkyries were about to tack another win onto their now 14-3 record, and three quarters later the proof was in the 68-43 score.
Bigfork led 21-6 at the end of the first quarter and 36-20 at the half. A 20-point third quarter pretty much secured the win for the Vals, since defensively they held the Lady Bulldogs to just 12 points. In the fourth quarter, Bigfork scored 12 and Whitefish got in 11.
Mallery Knoll scored five points in every quarter, except the second in which she scored four, for a game-high 19 points. Three other Vals joined her in double-digits — Kailey Fierro put up 11, and Caitlin Charlebois and Quinci Paine scored 10 apiece.
The Bigfork girls travel to Ronan on Saturday for a double-header with the boys teams. This will be the final game of the regular season for Bigfork.
