DOCS: Why are 2 of best leaving?

How many people in this county have battled cancer? Too many, we fear, as we now have a second state of the art cancer center in Post Falls. But at what expense?

Our CDA Cancer Center is losing two of its top oncologists, Drs. Stephen Iacoboni and Alan Grosset. Their patients all received letters this month informing them that their cases would be turned over to someone else. WHY would Kootenai Medical take the two top Doctors away? Why else? The almighty dollar!

This is devastating to those that are not only IN treatment but have yet to begin the long battle ahead. Both these men are top in the field and it will be a great loss; I suggest that Kootenai Medical reconsider this regrettable decision and know that this is a slap in the face of those whose lives have been saved by these two outstanding honorable men.

Cancer Survivor, 3-year remission thanks to Dr. Iacoboni and his wonderful aggressive treatment when all others prepared me for death.
