The Bigfork Land Use Advisory Committee heard an update from developers Thursday on a potential subdivision on Swan Hill Road.

The proposed "green" subdivision on 120 acres of property would include 17 approximately 3-acre units, a roughly 50-acre conservation area, 6.5 acres of open space and 9 acres of roads. The developers propose to pave Bigfork Stage Road, which they see as the main route of travel for the subdivision, from where pavement ends to past the property. They also plan to use public water and sewer.

Developers attended the Jan. 7 meeting to fill in members on changes to their plans before they file an application for the subdivision with the Flathead County Planning & Zoning Office. This is the second time BLUAC has heard about the project.
