The Bigfork High School boys and girls basketball teams both dominated Plains Thursday night in conference play.

The Valkyries hosted the Trotters and took an early 18-5 lead by the end of the first quarter. Bigfork never let up and finished Plains off with a 62-25 victory led by Caitlin Charlebois and Mallery Knoll, who scored 18 and 13 points, respectively.

The Vikings traveled to Plains where a 24-point second quarter gave them a 39-23 lead at the half. The Horesemen stayed in the game in the third quarter, but weren't able to keep up in the fourth allowing Bigfork to finish the game with a 69-48 win. Travis Knoll had his breakout game of the season, leading the Vikes with 20 points. Christian Ker contributed 16.

Both the Vikes and Vals travel to Troy on Saturday, Jan. 9, for a double header.
