Vals outscore Ronan Maidens

The Bigfork Valkyries beat former conference foes Ronan 52-36 in a home game Tuesday night.

The Vals had a big first half and outscored the Maidens 25-15, but their efforts dwindled in the second half. Ronan played catch-up in the third quarter and put up 11 points to Bigfork's seven. In the fourth, each team scored 10 points.

Mallery Knoll led Bigfork with 14 points. Quinci Paine scored 13 for the Vals and Caitlin Charlebois had 11.

The Vals travel to Whitefish on Thursday, Jan. 14, for another non-conference game.
