Officers on Wednesday arrested a man who allegedly sold marijuana from an Evergreen motel room.
Sean Franklin, 38, of Kalispell was arrested at the scene for the sale of dangerous drugs.
According to a press release from the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, officers confiscated 20 ounces of marijuana with a street value of approximately $6,000 from the room.
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office tactical team executed a search warrant at the Evergreen Inn Wednesday after a four-month-long investigation.
The Northwest Drug Task Force began the investigation and eventually introduced an undercover officer to the suspect later identified as Franklin. The undercover officer performed a series of drug purchases from Franklin over a three-month period.
Franklin was arrested without incident and is being held at the Flathead County Detention Facility. He has an extensive criminal history including charges of aggravated assault and resisting arrest, as well as weapons charges.
The investigation and arrest were a combined effort of the Northwest Drug Task Force, the Division of Criminal Investigation in the state Justice Department, and the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.
