son of adoptive parents Phillip and Amber Matson, and birth mother Desarai Patten, all of Columbia Falls, was born Oct. 27 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Olavi joins Paeden Grace Matson, 3 1/2, and Wenona Patten-Tenas, 3 1/2.

Paternal grandparents are Ron and Karen Matson of Rochester, Minn. Maternal grandparents are Ray Mitchell of Missoula, Fred Patten of Deer Lodge, Nona Mitchell of Columbia Falls, and Verla Smith of Charlo.
