Moe scores 20 points in Badger victory

Six-foot junior Aaron Moe netted 20 points on Tuesday to lead Bonners Ferry to a 54-49 win over Kellogg.

Teammate senior Alex Kellogg added 16 points.

Bonners Ferry is 2-2 in the Intermountain League and 5-9 overall.

In other action 5-foot-11 Badger junior Mat Evans scored 17 points to help Bonners Ferry defeat St. Maries 49-47 on Saturday. Moe added 15 points.

“A great win for the kids,” said coach Gordon Allured. “They showed a lot of heart after losing the lead in the third quarter. This should be a big confidence booster. I am really proud of the kids.”

Six-foot-1 senior Alex Kellogg led with 10 rebounds, Moe led in steals with 4 and Alex Mendez in assists with 4.
