Vals outscore Lady Bulldogs

Although the first quarter was the slowest of the Valkyries' season, the Bigfork varsity girls basketball team picked up a 45-26 win over St. Ignatius on Friday night.
The Lady Bulldogs led 6-5 at the end of the first quarter, before Bigfork picked up the pace in the second quarter and outscored them 20-11.
The Vals pressed on in the third and scored 11 points while holding St. Ignatius to just one point. Bigfork won the final quarter as well with nine points to the Lady Bulldogs' eight.
Mallery Knoll had a game-high 16 points and Taylor Peck had 12.
