Kristopher Lee Jones, 29, passed away in Kalispell on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010. Kristopher was born July 30, 1980, in Whitefish. He was raised in the Flathead Valley and worked as a diesel mechanic, with which he was very proud. He loved Ford pickups and motorcycles. He also loved to swim and boat in any water. He is survived by his mother, Cathy Jones; daughter, Jersy Jones; and son, Kolby Jones. A celebration of Kristopher s life will be held later this summer. Climate Smart Glacier Country announced its Climate Smart Champions during a ceremony at the Earth Day celebration April 21 in Whitefish. Awards were presented to businesses, youth and an individual who are leaders in building local solutions to climate change challenges.
