I’m actually still chuckling a little over Cecil Kelly III’s  recent letter to the editor about “radicals.”  It amazes me that people still fall for the rhetoric Progressives use to bash American conservatives and patriots and not only do they fall for it they repeat it verbatim. I’ve come to realize that many, many, many of the arguments used by the left are nothing more than tactics to incite emotion.

 It appears that they’ve realized they can’t win on logic and common sense so they go with emotion.  Look at the current illegal immigration issue in Arizona. What are they using? Race. “It’s a racist law,” “you are racist,” “it’s about keeping America white,” etc. etc.  They know they can’t argue against the logic that “these people are violating our laws and they are coming into our nation illegally and weakening our sovereignty.”  You can’t argue against that.  So what do you do?  Use race.  Let’s take health care reform. You can’t argue against the fact that it will give government more control over We the People and it will lead to a single payer health care system.  How do you argue against that?  You don’t.  You use emotion and talk about the children and the elderly and poor who dont’ have health care so when conservatives still fight you you can say “What?  You don’t support the children?  The elderly?  The poor?”

 I’m chuckling a little bit more because it’s so obvious to me.  Do you think it’s coincidence that the Communists, Fascists, and National Socialists all attacked religion and now the American Progressives are attacking religion?  Here’s a hint : You cannot control the masses if religion is in their lives. Is it coincidence that the Communists attacked the “evil Bourgeois” business owners and the American Progressives now attack business and Wall Street “fat cats?”  Is it coincidence that the Communists in Russia gave immigrants more rights than Russians in order to discourage Nationalism and low and behold the American Progressives are attempting to give illegal immigrants amnesty in the United States?  Is it coincidence that school children in Stalinist Russia and Nazi Germany were taught to sing to their national leaders and here we are seeing more and more videos popping up of school children singing to Progressive President Barack Obama? Is it coincidence that Joseph Stalin, Benito Mussolini, and Adolf Hitler all drilled the idea of collectivism into the heads of the citizens and surprise, the Progressive President Barack Obama is telling the American people to be prepared to step out of your comfort zone, tighten your belt, and be prepared for some mandatory volunteer work for the good of the many?  That’s a lot of coincidence.
