LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. - Alex Pounds of Coeur d'Alene and Derek Bayley of Rathdrum won their age groups at the Idaho Junior Golf Association District 4 tournament, which concluded Friday at MeadowWood Golf Course.

Pounds, a Coeur d'Alene High graduate who was 5A boys medalist at the state golf tournament at Avondale in May, shot 67-75-142 for a one-stroke victory over Boston Murdoch of Idaho Falls in the boys 17-18 age group.

In the boys 13-14 age group, Bayley shot a 69-74-143, winning by four strokes over Kenny Dodge of Post Falls.
