2010. Dennis was born August 1950 in Whitefish, to parents Don and Elsie Persicke. He graduated from Whitefish High School and married his high school sweetheart, Sherry Klem, in November 1971. Dennis and Sherry had two sons, Eric and Keith, and moved between the Whitefish area and Missoula, before they settled in Missoula in 1984. Dennis had a long career as an industrial electrician for numerous Montana plants, including most recently a decade-long employment with Smurfit Stone in Frenchtown. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Don Persicke. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Sherry Persicke, of Missoula; mother, Elsie Persicke, of Whitefish; sons, Eric of Missoula, and Keith and daughter-in-law Ellyn, and grandchildren, Jasmyn and Jillian, of Spokane; brothers, Reggie Persicke of Seeley Lake, Don Persicke of Missoula, and sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Duaine Rieker, of Hayden Lake, Idaho; and his caring father and mother-in-law, Lee and Shirley Klem, of Missoula. Dennis had a passion for Montana, whether it was camping with his wife, cheering on his beloved Grizzlies, or taking an afternoon drive on the Montana roads less traveled. He and Sherry loved to travel and would visit new locations whenever possible. Dennis was a wonderful grandfather and would drop any project for a visit with his granddaughters. Dennis will be remembered as a hard working husband, father, grandfather, brother, neighbor and friend who always had time to share a story and a laugh. Pease join the family in celebrating Dennis life, from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 10, at 13654 Bunchgrass Lane, Missoula.
