COEUR d'ALENE - A celebration to mark the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act by President George H.W. Bush is scheduled in Coeur d'Alene on July 26.
Festivities will begin at City Hall, with the reading of a proclamation by Mayor Sandi Bloem at 9:15 a.m.
Disability Action Center-NW, Inc. is inviting the community to come and join hands around City Hall, symbolizing that by working together, "we can build on the progress of the last 20 years and create an America that celebrates and invests in the talents, dreams and aspirations of its more than 50 million children and adults with disabilities."
The public is welcome.
