COEUR d'ALENE - Even the producer admits this is a bad musical.

Make that "The Big Bad Musical."

For the past two weeks, 20 local kids and six student interns have been working on the courtroom musical comedy produced by Ain't It Good Productions Children's Theatre.

Sandy Clemons, director of "The Big Bad Musical," said she's excited to see the audience reaction to the vocal talents of the camp members.

"This musical has an interesting twist in that the audience is the jury and gets to decide if the Big Bad Wolf is guilty of the crimes against him," she said. "The kids have had to learn three different endings and the Judge (played by Emily Moorage) will decide nightly the innocence or guilt of the wolf based on audience applause."

"The Big Bad Musical" will be performed at the Lake City Playhouse tonight at 7, Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m., and Sunday at 2 and 7 p.m.

To reserve tickets, call 769-4262. Tickets are $8 for adults and kids.
