LCHS: Contributors help seniors

On behalf of the graduating class of 2010 from Lake City High School, we would like to extend our gratitude to some important contributors in our community. We are very fortunate to have these generous businesses and individuals who donated merchandise or cash to help our seniors at LCHS have a great send-off at their all night graduation party held recently at the Kroc Center.

THRIVENT: Hosted 'Join Hands Day'

On behalf of the residents of Coeur d'Alene Homes Assisted Living and Memory Care, I would like to thank the local chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for hosting "Join Hands Day" in our Serenity Garden. Thrivent's support provided funds and volunteers for yard cleanup along with pots and flowers for planting.

Residents enjoyed the event tremendously and didn't mind getting their hands dirty while working with volunteers to plant flowers. With the support from organizations like Thrivent, we offer quality programs bringing meaningful moments to our senior living community. Many thanks to Eula Hickam and her corps of Thrivent volunteers. You are a blessing!
