Corey Patterson had another big hit against Texas, rookie Jake Arrieta pitched into the seventh and the Baltimore Orioles won 4-1 Sunday in Arlington, Texas, to complete a four-game series sweep of the AL West-leading Rangers.
Athletics 5, Angels 2: Jack Cust homered for the second time in three games, Adam Rosales added a two-run single and host Oakland beat Los Angeles.
Rays 6, Indians 5, 10 inn.: At St. Petersburg, Fla., Jason Bartlett hit a game-ending single over a drawn-in outfield in the 10th, giving Tampa Bay a win over Cleveland.
White Sox 15, Royals 5: Carlos Quentin hit a grand slam and a solo homer, and host Chicago surged into first place in the American League Central by beating Kansas City.
Twins 6, Tigers 3: Michael Cuddyer drove in a pair of runs and Carl Pavano pitched well into the eighth inning, helping visiting Minnesota over Detroit.
Red Sox 3, Blue Jays 2: David Ortiz and Darnell McDonald hit back-to-back home runs, Daisuke Matsuzaka won for the first time in more than a month and visiting Boston beat Toronto.

Phillies 1, Reds 0: Cole Hamels tossed six-hit ball into the eighth inning, Jimmy Rollins drove in the only run and host Philadelphia completed a four-game sweep of NL West-leading Cincinnati.
Mets 3, Braves 0: Johan Santana went seven innings in another spotless start, and rookie Ike Davis hit a long home run to help host New York avoid a three-game sweep by NL East rival Atlanta.
Marlins 2, Diamondbacks 0: At Phoenix, Jorge Cantu doubled in a run and Dan Ugla had an RBI single as Florida beat Arizona.
Padres 9, Rockies 7: At Denver, Matt Belisle's bases-loaded throwing error led to two unearned runs in the eighth inning, and Everth Cabrera hit his first homer of the season in the ninth in San Diego's win over Colorado.
Giants 6, Nationals 2: Travis Ishikawa drove in three runs, Madison Bumgarner took a shutout into the seventh inning and visiting San Francisco beat Washington for its seventh win in nine games.
Pirates 6, Brewers 5: Corey Hart hit a two-run homer in the ninth inning to give Milwaukee a three-game sweep and hand visiting Pittsburgh its sixth straight loss.
Cardinals 4, Astros 2: Matt Holliday hit a three-run homer, Colby Rasmus drove in a run with a pinch-hit single and visiting St. Louis beat Houston.
Dodgers 7, Cubs 0: Vicente Padilla pitched eight innings of two-hit ball and James Loney hit a three-run homer off Carlos Silva before the Cubs pitcher was ejected in the second inning, leading host Los Angeles over Chicago.
