Weigh in on basin cleanup plan

Now is your chance to comment on the cleanup.
The Environmental Protection Agency started accepting comments on Monday for its proposed plan for mining contamination cleanup in the Upper Basin.
Proposed actions will address protecting human health and the environment, in ways like reducing metal concentrations in surface water to safe drinking levels.
Your comments won't be ignored. After reviewing and responding to comments on the plan, the EPA will issue its final decision in a ROD amendment later this year.
