Vito Pistone was born Oct. 22, 1981. He passed away July 10, 2010, from an ATV accident. He was familiar with the road and ATV and we are uncertain as to why he went off the road collided with a tree. He was killed on impact and we can only speculate it was purely accidental.

He was a born leader. Vito was a loving husband and an amazing father. He was a great friend and an even better brother. Vito was an inspiration to all who met him. He was always there to carry the weight and gave you a smile when you needed it the most. He was a man of strong morals and applications, an example for everything you could of hoped to be. Vito stepped up at every turn, not for the recognition, but because he knew it was right and had to be done. Every person in his life can attest to his generosity. Everyone Vito met was drawn to his radiating good nature he had more friends than you could count, from his co-workers and family to anyone he met on the street.

Vito accomplished so much with the little time he was here. Vito signed up for the Marines when he was 17, he went to boot camp at Parris Island, and graduated first class ranking 5th place with honors in September 2000. He was deployed to Iraq after 911 in 2001 for operation enduring freedom and again in 2002 until 2003.

Vito recently graduated with honors from Spokane Community Collage receiving his airframe and power plant technician license. But Vito's top priority was his wife Kelly and their daughter Bella Rose and to prepare for his unborn child. His in-laws adored him and could not have been more grateful that their daughter had met such an amazing man. He was like a brother and a father to so many in his life. There are no words to express the heartache felt by everyone who was fortunate enough to be in his life.

His wife would especially like to thank all those who have shown their love and support. A Wells Fargo account has been set up under Vito Pistone Benefit Memorial Fund for his wife and children. All donations can be made at any Wells Fargo. A benefit is being held all day from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2010, at Mugsy's Espresso in Post Falls. All proceeds go to Kelly and children. Vito will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Rest In Peace. "So Italian-So Intense!"

Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2010, at English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. Fourth St., Coeur d'Alene.
