Beverly Thompson was born Aug. 28, 1932. She passed away July 15, 2010, due to cancer.

Beverly moved to Idaho from Duluth, Minn., as a young woman to work in Yellowstone Park.

Beverly joined Idaho Housing Agency in March 1978 as a Field Office Supervisor in Idaho Falls and in 1982 she began supervising the Coeur d'Alene office. In 1992 she began working for Area on Aging as a Program Specialist. She also volunteered at the Dirne clinic.

Beverly is survived by her son, Steve Thompson, and his two sons, Trent and Troy of Idaho Falls, and daughter Kelly and son-in-law, Phil Owens of Hayden and their son, Jason of Boise. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Beverly enjoyed her many friends from Leisure Park and all the fun activities they shared. She also had made new friends at Heartland in the last year. Her family appreciates the regular visits and calls made to Bev in the last months of her illness. The family especially appreciates the attention and care by Hospice of North Idaho staff and the caring staff at By the Lake Assisted Living Home.

Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of North Idaho for the new Hospice House, in the planning stages in Hayden. Memorial services will be held in Idaho Falls. Beverly will always live in our hearts.
