Grant County Superior Court Judge John Antosz followed the prosecutor’s recommendation, sentencing her to a year and two months in prison. The maximum end of the sentencing range was a year and a half in prison.
Lambert has six prior convictions including possession of stolen property, manufacture or delivery of methamphetamine and identity theft.
Lambert was driving with Justin Larkin, 29, Tacoma, when he asked her to stop beside a truck. Larkin started to take items out of the truck, including a .357 Ruger pistol and a pair of binoculars, according to the Grant County sheriff’s report. The victim, working in the nearby field, spotted Larkin and drove to the edge of the field.
Larkin and Lambert drove away from the scene with the victim following in his truck. The victim called 9-1-1. The chase reached speeds of 110 mph, and Lambert threw the binoculars and the gun from the car window, according to the police report.
Lambert stopped after police officers started chasing her.
Larkin pleaded guilty to theft of a firearm, theft in the second degree and vehicle prowling for his part. He was sentenced with a first-time offender waiver to 90 days in jail in January.
