Boxing Thursday at House of Fury

WORLEY - Six bouts are scheduled for Thursday's House of Fury boxing event at the Coeur d'Alene Casino starting at 7 p.m.
In the main event, Sandpoint native Favio Medina (22-2-3, 8 KOs) will take on Damian Frias (16-3, 7 KOs) of Miami in a 10-round fight at 147 pounds. Medina defeated Jason Papillion via decision to win the United States World Boxing Council welterweight title on March 25.
Skyler Anderson of Newman Lake will face Bobby O'Bannon of Mobile, Ala., in a 10-round heavyweight bout.
Anderson dropped Moses Droz in the third round in his last appearance in the House of Fury in March.
Shawn Hawk (19-1-1, 17 KOs) of Sioux Falls will face Anthony Greenidge (14-3-1, 5 KOs) of Brooklyn, N.Y., in an eight-round bout at 178 pounds.
"People will be excited to see Shawn again," Special Events coordinator Mario Faliciani said. "We expect the fight to be a great addition to the card, even though it's not the main event. Favio has a real test also."
Dewey Welliver (18-20, 6 KOs) of Spokane and Paul Mpendo (6-5, 3 KOs) of Eugene will square off in a six-round bout at 154 pounds.
Chris Green (7-5-1, 5 KOs) of Denver will face Emerson Chasing Bear (4-0-1, 3 KOs) of Rapid City, S.D., in a six-round heavyweight bout.
Kaleb Fisher of Spokane is scheduled to face David Quartz of Portland in a scheduled four-round fight at 154 pounds.
Fisher defeated David Mendez of Gresham, Ore., with a technical knockout 1:59 into the first round in his last fight in Worley.
