LEWISTON - Michael Brown collected three RBIs for Lee University, which beat Lewis-Clark State College 8-0 on Monday at the NAIA World Series before 5,225, at Harris Field in a loser-out game.
Lee's Scott Swinson fanned 11 LCSC hitters en route to a four-hit complete game performance.
Three former area players play for Lewis-Clark: Travis Georgius and Zach Clanton, former Lake City High standouts, and Cory Bridges, who starred at Coeur d'Alene.
LCSC finished its season with a 48-4 record, Lee is at 51-11.
