Jack Eugene Stromquist, 61, of Sandpoint, Idaho, died Friday, June 4, 2010, at his home following an extended illness.

Private family burial took place on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Pack River Cemetery.

Jack was born July 30, 1948, in Sandpoint, the son of John and June Stromquist.

He started as a mechanic and moved to service manager at Sandpoint Motors. He later owned and operated Premium Machine with his wife and friends, John and Peppy Pelz.He later was service writer at Taylor-Parker Motors and service manager at Evergreen Ford.

Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Carol;  daughters, Carol Hoover, Brenda Stromquist and Jackie Stromquist-Catlin; grandchildren: Donoven, Danny and Kymberlyn Hoover, Camren Catlin; brother-in-law: Jim (Terry) Carpenter; sisters: Jeannie (Steve) Dickmann, Tanya Strandy; and many close friends. 

He was loved and will be missed.  Goodbye ‘til we see you again.
