Larson, Fischer tie at inaugural Bike Fish race

More than 130 racers came out for the inaugural Fish Trails 5K run on Sunday, June 6.

Runners followed a hilly loop course that started and finished at City Beach. Money raised at the event will go toward the Fish Trails bike path system. The race also kicked off the weeklong Bikefish celebration.

Adam Larson and Gan-gemi Fischer finished in a deadheat at 19:43 for the top overall spot.

Rachel Farris was the first female finisher in 20:22. A slew of high school runners were two minutes back of Farris, including Whitefish High School standouts Bailey Eaton, Jessica Sagen and Carly Schwickert.

Rehberg to attend rally for Jesus statue
