OSBURN - What began as a routine traffic stop Wednesday ended up a successful drug bust as marijuana and $4,300 in cash were recovered in an Osburn residence.

In a joint effort, the Osburn Police Department and Shoshone County Sheriff's Office booked Bertha Rene Fausett, 61, and Nancy Majella Jeffrey, 49, after officers discovered marijuana and paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Fausett faces charges of possession of over 3 ounces of a controlled substance, marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia for a controlled substance. Jeffrey is charged with attempting possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia for a controlled substance.

Evidence was recorded and the marijuana sent to the state lab for a certified weight to be taken.
