Ask your audiologist...

My husband is a Realtor with poor hearing and even with his hearing aids he has trouble using his cell phone. Is there something new that could help him?
When hard-of-hearing people need to hear on the cell phone for their livelihood they need the power of Bluetooth! There are some hearing aid manufacturers that now make hearing aids with the ability to use blue tooth to stream to cell phones, iPods, TVs and computers. This allows the hard-of-hearing person to hear the phone or other device in both ears at the same time. Hearing in both ears makes understanding easier for most people and they don't have to have it as loud as when using only one ear. When your husband is ready for new hearing aids, make sure he looks into aids that have Bluetooth capability.
