The Madness might be over for me

The tournament is far from over, but my bracket is done.
Toasted.
Burnt to the ground.
My only hope to score points is Duke, coincidentally the only No. 1 seed left. They face the No. 2 seed from the east, West Virginia who upset Kentucky. But I expect West Virginia to win.
Why? At this point in the tournament, I now assume upsets will happen in every game. This last round of games proved that. Tennessee beat Ohio State. Butler kicked Syracuse and Kansas State. West Virginia stopped Kentucky.
With Michigan State and Butler facing each other in the semi-finals, I don't know who to root for. Neither made it this far in my bracket. Both are the fifth seeds from their region. I normally don't watch basketball for fun and now that's what it feels like. I didn't pick Duke to make the championship game, so any chance for me to catch David is now done with. David, Jenna and I are the only ones to have Duke in the final four. In fact, only Jenna chose Duke to make the championship, but she has them losing to Kansas.
So, this means David and I finished one-two as Earl comes in third. There are 61 possible points and David ends with 42. That's 70 percent and not bad for a non-fan of collegiate basketball. If Duke wins, Jenna will tie Sasha for fourth.
This is better than the bracket I submitted to my family's contest. We scored things differently, with more points gained for wins in the later rounds. If my brother was smart, he would realize that he had the championship locked up after the second round when the rest of our brackets were all injured beyond repair.
The three of us have made a pact not to tell him this information in order to avoid hearing about it any earlier than necessary. Since he can't be bothered to read his favorite sister's column, I know I'm not spilling the beans. This only means that when I travel home for Easter, I will be hit with more trash talking than I'm already getting through our family e-mail conversations. He will claim that my win last year was pure luck, but it wasn't, and that I don't know anything about sports. I beg to differ.
Now, the only shot at redemption I have is finding my Easter eggs faster then him.
